For make-up artist Carmen Zomers, we created in cooperation with publisher Luitingh-Sijthoff, Carmen’s first make-up book: Boho Beauty. Carmen is a renowned hair and make-up artist who has worked for many magazines and tv-shows. She has worked with many celebreties locally and abroad.

The book consists of hair and make-up tutorials to show the reader how to create your own Bohemian look in Ibiza style. After we created a mood board and the look and style was determined, there was a lot of work to do. We organized the step-by-step photographs into the different chapters, each explaining a different make-up look. Each chapter starts with atmospheric images all photographed in typical Ibiza colors such as soft orange, turquoise and bougainvillea pink. We used different patterns to back-up the lay-outs and used happy quotes to alternate the pages.
